[S5E25] Legs From Here To Homeworld ~UPD~
Steven takes everyone to Rose's dump, where he suggests they need to start searching around the large pink "pyramids" and that it might take a while. Everyone else figures out what the pyramids are long before Steven does, only realizing that they are the knees of Pink's legs-shaped ship after he's activated it and Bismuth tells him to turn around. The arrival of Pink's ship in Beach City causes people to stare, and Ronaldo to snap a photo. Connie's parents see her off, with Dr. Maheswaran noting that she can't believe she asked Connie if she's got her sword. Bismuth tells Steven she's not coming, advising him that he's going into the lions' den and he'll need to roar like them, and that someone has to look after the poofed Peridot and Lapis. Garnet assures Greg that Steven will be fine, and asks him to "water" Cat Steven. Finally, everyone is ready to go. As Steven clumsily walks the ship out into the bay for takeoff to get a running start, Pearl comments that Pink was just as ungainly while piloting it. On the journey in space, Steven wonders if he should have brought a gift for White to make a good impression, and Yellow snaps that that's not happening because turning up in Pink's ship will prove that the last six millennia are the greatest embarrassment in the history of Gem society.
[S5E25] Legs From Here to Homeworld
Steven felt funny that he's living near the ocean, yet going to space to swim, to which Blue laughs, and states how Pink hasn't changed. She then elaborates on how Steven is still as silly and small as Pink was. Steven comments that he's not done growing, but doubts he'll ever be as big as Blue and Yellow. Blue states how it's nice to have Steven back, specifically calling him 'Steven', causing Steven to get excited about Blue possibly starting to understand who he is. Blue then mentions how 'Steven' and 'Steee-von' is such a funny-sounding name, and comments Pink's creativity for coming up with it, causing his excitement to die down. Blue then asks Steven about the time she let Pink name a batch of Pyrite as 'Fools Gold', and that it made White livid. Steven states that he doesn't remember. Blue then asks if he remembers the game Pink used to play where she would sink to the bottom and sing, while Blue, Yellow, and White would try to guess the song from above the water. Steven asks if they can do that at that very moment, to which Blue replies that they stopped coming to the Chamber together after Pink left, and that her departure was the start of Era 2, and that none of the remaining diamonds wanted to be there with Pink's spot empty. Steven states how despite the other diamonds having duties while running their colonies, they should make the effort to spend more time together. A chime is heard and Blue Pearl announces that Blue has an upcoming appointment. Steven states that he wanted to talk with Blue about White, and she responds that they can perhaps talk about it later. The pool drains as Blue leaves, then Steven calls for Pearl because he got water up his nose and Pearl, surprised, says 'Oh dear' and pulls the string to get Steven out.
At night, Steven is seen drying himself off in Pink's room, states how everything going on at this point was weird, and asks if it was a spa day or something, and about what purpose Pink had on Homeworld. Pearl answers that Pink threw massive balls before she got her first colony. Steven misunderstands this and interprets that Pink was a juggler. Pearl replies that, while she did juggle, she also threw massive parties for the other Diamonds' accomplishments that every gem from every court attended just for the chance to see all four Diamonds' radiance at once. Steven asks about how even White would attend. Pearl affirms this and wonders about the remainder of Pink's court, reminding her of something, causing her to excuse herself, stating that she'll be back. Steven wonders where he would even head off to. Steven wonders if he's accepted the role of just being Pink, and asks the Pebbles about who Pink was, breaking into a duet with the Pebbles, singing the titular song: Familiar. The Pebbles came in Steven's duffel bag and checked out his stuff. He came to Pink's hallway with moving pillars and checked out his mother's holographic drawings. Then, a drop of Steven's sweat[3] falls onto the pebble display, thus creating a sentient Pebble. There, he swipes through drawings of White, Yellow, and Blue Diamond together, then the next show a single drop of Pink's sweat right above two Pebbles, indicating how they are made, and the final drawing shows all four Diamonds together.
Pearl returns and is surprised to see Steven in Pink's old outfit in his sizes. Steven replies that he felt he should dress for the occasion. Pearl then states that she also has a surprise, wherein she summons Garnet, Amethyst, and Connie from her Gem. Steven then asks them to remember how, despite how annoying he was, and unable to go on missions, they would still drop everything to hang out with him, then stating how he believes that Pink was in the same situation, just with the other Diamonds. Steven then announces his plan to throw a huge ball where everyone is invited. The episode concludes with Steven in a triumphant pose.
Things are getting tense in Beach City in the aftermath of the abductions and Steven's escape from Homeworld. Steven and Connie aren't talking, Sadie's frustrated and missing Lars, and the gems are trying to figure out how to keep everything together. There are some big changes on the horizon - but will they be changes for the better?
After Ronaldo sees the barn on the moon, Steven goes up there and finds Lapis Lazuli using the moon base to spy on Steven and the Gems on Earth. While the two reconnect, Lapis is unsure about returning to Earth, but another vision from Steven prompts her decision.
Jake can morph into all sorts of fantastic shapes with his powers, but typically takes the form of an average sized yellow-orange bulldog. As revealed in "Donny," he wears transparent pants made of spider webs spun by pixies. In "What Was Missing," he borrows the pair of pants that Marceline wore in "It Came from the Nightosphere."
Jake loves to eat. He likes junk food, especially pie, burgers, and ice cream, but he has stated in "Slumber Party Panic" that eating chocolate or fudge would probably kill him, much like a normal dog. He is not afraid to try new foods (as seen in "Her Parents") and invents many of his own foods. There is evidence of his ability to cook; he makes Korean food for Finn at the beginning of "Apple Thief," and he cooked all the food that he used to make the Everything Burrito. He made coffee in "Beautopia," bacon pancakes in "Burning Low" and also scrambled eggs in "Frost & Fire." He used his cooking skills to create an incredible sandwich in "Time Sandwich" that contained several unusual and original ingredients such as lobster soul and a bird from the kitchen window.
Magic Fist is the disguise Finn and Jake wore in "Wizard Battle" in order to be eligible to compete. Finn and Jake wear a big red trench coat, a blue hood, and dark blue shades. Only Finn's face and Jake's arms and legs can be seen, and the rest is kept under the coat. Jake was the 'magic second head' of Magic Fist and Magic Fist's Limbs are Jake's arms and legs. Since Jake cannot see while his head is inside the cloak, Finn tells Jake where to attack with clock position code.
In the episode "The Lich," after real Finn and Jake are pulled in the wormhole by the Lich disguised as Billy, the scene goes to another dimension where we see Farmworld Finn with a robotic arm and playing the flute. Jake is seen as a normal dog with small eyes and has no shapeshifting or stretching powers and is unable to speak but barks like a normal dog. This was caused by Finn's wish for the Lich's nonexistence. At the climax of "Jake The Dog," after Finn saves Jake from the goo pit of the Mushroom Bomb, Jake acts more rabid and aggressive. Later on, he gained his powers in the Farmworld but had terrible results as he attacks Farmworld Finn while turning into a giant Lich-like monster. 041b061a72
